Overview

The Fashion Advanced Apprenticeships give you the opportunity to work for a real employer, and the good news is that that employer could be BehindBras.    This will be your opportunity to earn a real salary whilst gaining valuable workplace skills, experience and ultimately an accredited qualification.

Anyone living in England, over 16 years old and not in full-time education can apply to be an apprentice in the Fashion Industry.

We work closely with a wide range of employers in the Fashion Industry including ASOS, Marks & Spencer, New Look, Hobbs and Jigsaw. During your apprenticeship you will typically work at least 30 hours per week with your employer.

After qualifying, the majority of apprentices (85%) will stay in employment, with two-thirds (64%) staying with the same employer. A Fashion Apprenticeship offers the chance of a REAL future in the fashion industry.

What you will study

Apprenticeships are a fantastic way to gain a qualification through work-based learning. if you are a school or college leaver and you think you know what career or industry you would like to work in.  Also, remember age is no restriction when applying for apprenticeship training,

In the fashion and textile industry the  professional qualification that you gain will take between one and four years to complete through a combination of work-based assessment visits, workshops, reviews and classroom lessons.

How you will be taught

The Fashion and Textiles Apprenticeship programme is a unique combination of training and career specific work experience. The apprentice will be working with one employer for the entire course therefore providing an opportunity for both the employer and the individual to develop a long and sustainable relationship.

The minimum entry requirement to gain access to the qualification is four C grades at GCSE level, the equivalent or professional experience and to be committed to the interview process.

What can I do once I've completed the course?
